Alabama's 25th album sounds like it was produced in a studio from the not-so-distant future. The songs here sound crystalline in their bright tones and barbed pop hooks. The boys even managed to get Christopher Cross to sing with them on a song, helping to stretch their lush sound a bit outside country music's boundaries.
