A more introspective record than you'd expect but also much bleaker than most of Pop's canon, with disturbing titles like "Hate," "Jealousy" and "Sickness." Oddly, it's also a very melodic rendering; finding him in such a tuneful state of mind is disquieting, considering some of his ground-breaking proto-punk efforts. Iggy's ragged version of "Louie, Louie" is a standout.
