Yes' first album is a truly interesting mix of early prog Moog noises and Beatles harmonies. The Beatles influence would never again been so pronounced in Yes' music after this release, and the unbelievable beauty of "Sweetness" -- a song that, along with "Heart of the Sunrise," was used to great effect by Vincent Gallo in Buffalo '66 -- would never be repeated. That said, the opener and "Looking Around" could have practically been on Fragile.
