Melvins acolytes will no doubt enjoy identifying not just the songs here as each remixer was given an entire album from the Melvins' oeuvre to work from. Psychedelic guru Kawabata Makoto of Acid Mothers Temple and godlike Boredoms founder Yamantaka Eye, along with Matmos, Merzbow and Sonic Youth guitarist Lee Ranaldo are all on the roster. You can expect many moments that are basically the sonic equivalent of tossing a power drill set to "kill" into a bathtub.
