"Under the Milky Way" is still played across North America, Europe and The Church's native Australia. But the highly influential post-punk/neo-psych band has enjoyed numerous other modern rock successes. This two-disc set combines most of them, including "Metropolis, "Reptile," "Ripple" and the sumptuous duet "Two Places at Once." Ironically, The Church's longevity and refusal to play the nostalgia circuit has cost them a chance to be "rediscovered" despite the fact -- or maybe because -- they never hit a creative rough patch like most of their post-punk peers.
