A top-flight studio musician and composer from San Francisco, the pianist fuses smooth jazz, pop, classical and contemporary instrumental into a seamless and totally fluid sound. Despite its laid-back feel, Withycombe's piano work is dexterous and slyly complex. The guy has got some chops -- that's for sure.
