A major hit in her native France, this set is made up primarily of multi-tracked samples of the singer's voice and sounds that she can make with her body. It's a stunning, highly imaginative achievement, though listening to the entire album in one sitting can sometimes conjure up images of Bobby McFerrin recording with that freaky guy from the Police Academy movies who made motor noises with his mouth. Still, Camille's sense of artistic daring usually pays off. She's a sensitive balladeer one minute and a Warner Brothers cartoon come to life the next.
