Vives sprang back into action on this 2004 release, gussying up his trademark pop-vallenato sound with rock guitars and a decidedly rough-and-tumble feel and (oddly) veering into Haight Street hippiedom with freshly-grown dreadlocks. Still, while "Como Tu" got radio play, there are scads of rewarding tracks, including "La Llamada," "La Maravilla" and "Gallito De Caramelo."
