Celebremos Nochebuena starts out sounding like the best Christmas Eve party you've never been to -- tropical drinks, smokin' hot cha cha cha and the obligatory passing references to mangers, babies, etc. But for all Cruz's irrepressible joy, she was also deeply devout (though more deeply with Santeria), so she's able to redeem the party vibe with the gravitas of a song like "Rey De Los Cielos." The result (recorded early in her career with La Sonora Matancera) is easily one of the most charming reasons ever to listen to Christmas music.
