Synth pop darlings and democratizers of industrial music, Depeche Mode were the least likely of bands to become American stadium stars or to be filmed by noted documentarian D.A. Pennebaker. But both happened, resulting in this two-CD live set that chronicles a 1987-88 U.S. tour. Singer David Gahan is an energetic frontman but this is really for diehards only.
