As you can glean from the photo of Donny Osmond dressed up in his A/X Armani suit, this is not a compilation of his 1970s helmet-hair-era recordings. These songs are modern renditions of make-out hits from the bygone days of feathered hair and flared trousers. But it's not all just elevator music with vocals thrown on top. His version of Johnny Nash's "I Can See Clearly Now" has Osmond hitting his high register that brings back visions of his days in a turquoise pantsuit. And the sappy take on Bread's "If" is perfect to throw on should you happen to bring a cougar home from the sports bar.
