A banda veteran who had performed with la Banda el Limon among others, Jose Angel Ledezma Quintero (aka el Coyote) struck out on his own in 1997 with the newly formed Banda Tierra Santa. They've recorded at a frenetic pace, but their fans eat it up and they're currently one of the top banda acts in both Mexico and the U.S.
