George Dalaras

With more than forty albums released over a four-decade career, George (Yiorgas) Dalaras is something of a Mediterranean pop phenomenon. Although he has a covered a variety of musical styles in his long career (everything from traditional Greek smirneiko to contemporary pop) Dalaras is often referred to as the "Greek Bruce Springsteen."
