From the Allman Brothers Band to The Black Crowes, southern-rock bands are known for releasing epic live albums. Gov't Mule is no exception to the rule. The triple-disc set Mulennium documents the group's New Year's Eve show on December 31, 1999. Good thing Y2K didn't cause an end-of-the-world power outage in The Big Peach that night; Warren Haynes and company are smoking. Of course, 26 tracks might be a bit much for the casual fan, but there are enough surprises -- special guests like Little Milton and Audley Freed, a cover of "Dazed and Confused" -- to keep most rock 'n' roll ears engaged.
