Hedwig and the Angry Inch

The brainchild of John Cameron Mitchell, who played her on stage and screen, Hedwig is a transgender glam-punk from East Berlin. After a botched sex-change operation leaves her with a "Barbie doll crotch...an angry inch," Hedwig finds love, inspiration and blistering rawk in a trailer park in Junction City, Kansas, then takes it on the road on a tour of theme and chain restaurants in hot pursuit of the teenage boy who stole her song and broke her heart.
