Here's a more atmospheric Americana outfit from L.A. that sounds like a segue between My Morning Jacket's 1,000-yard stare-down and Son Volt's agrarian anthems. The vocals have just enough drawl to sound authentic (rather than affected), and the songs are sweeping one moment and catchy the next.
