Decades from now, when our direct link television implants start pumping our brains full of history programs about the early 21st century, the soundtracks will include massive doses of post-U2 piano rock: Coldplay, Ben Folds, Muse, etc. The Glass Passenger will also be included. In all fairness, though, Jack's Mannequin owe more to the pep of Orange County pop punk than The Joshua Tree's ethereal shimmer. This makes sense, considering main dude Andrew McMahon also serves time in Something Corporate.
