This single is proof that Mudvayne are either growing out of their earlier gimmicky-metal or losing the edge that made their gimmicky-metal so interesting to begin with. Either way, "Happy" is a song you can yell along to, play insanely loud, and have a blast with at a party. The question doesn't really matter.
