As though Emeralds' John Elliott didn't have enough going on between his Spectrum Spools label and about a dozen other side projects and collaborations, he's managed to put out a score of cassettes, CD-Rs and albums as Outer Space between 2008 and 2012. The latest features input from a handful of likeminded noiseniks, but it's largely a restrained affair, one that condenses Elliott's Tangerine Dream inspirations into lithe arpeggios that scatter like drops of water in hot oil.
