Railway Children

Named after a much-loved English children's book, the members of the Railway Children were practically teenagers when their jangly guitar pop hit the airwaves in the mid 1980s. They were a solid band that nonetheless suffered when compared to the more idiosyncratic Aztec Camera or the Smiths.
