Ricky Martin sounds like he's walking on air on his ninth album -- and no, that's not a "light in his loafers" joke. It's a fiesta for Martin, who proudly came out as gay in 2010 and sounds positively liberated by it on Musica, his first album since. Heartfelt (if slightly hokey) lead single "The Best Thing about Me Is You" (offered in English and Spanish) encapsulates Martin's attitude, while the rest of the album works a buoyant, balanced strut through easygoing dance-pop and sweeping slow jams. Nothing mind-blowing, but it's all (like Martin himself) self-assured and sexy.
