Excluding Snakepit's two albums, this is the guitarist's first solo joint since leaving GnR in '96. That said, it's a thoroughly collaborative affair, one boasting a who's who of rock royalty: Ian Astbury, Chris Cornell, Kid Rock, Dave Grohl, Ozzy, Iggy, Fergie, Duff and more. It's obvious these folks love playing with such a killer musician, and it's their enthusiasm that makes Slash a fun listen. By the way, don't miss Fergie slaying it on "Beautiful Dangerous." She needs to sing more rock.
