One of the premier doo-wop groups, The Coasters were loved for ther smooth harmonies, simple to appealing music, and comical lyricism. Though this album doesn't include their biggest hits ("Yakety Yak" and "Charlie Brown,") there's still some great moments on here. Check out the exotic strains of "Lola" and the rollicking police drama "Framed."
