The first single off of the Strokes' third LP indicates a new direction for the N.Y.C. boys, and it's sure to be divisive. Launching with a pummeling riff from Weezer's "Hash Pipe" school, the band also takes a few pages from the Franz Ferdinand songbook, but brings a certain bratty sloppiness to the fore.
