After a disappointing sophomore effort, the Thrills rebound with a bright, airy album that puts the Dublin quintet back in sunny California -- sonically, anyway. The boys have paid attention to the details in their sophisticated instrumentation, turning out layered, breezy pop gem after pop gem. It really is amazing how much a tambourine and mandolin brightens up a sound! Highlights (and there are plenty) include "Midnight Choir," "There's Joy To Be Found...The Boy Who Caught All the Breaks," "I Came All This Way" and "Long Forgotten Song."
