Biografie

With titles like Beautiful America, Gifts of the Heart and Wondrous Christmas, the American composer Tim Janis makes clear the uplifting intent behind his music. With their strong, simple melodies and clean orchestral arrangements, Janis' mostly instrumental songs radiate reassuring calm, imbued with the familiar twinkle of Norman Rockwell. Both James Earl Jones and former First Lady Barbara Bush have narrated Janis' musical projects. An active supporter of humanitarian efforts in Africa, he has collaborated with George Clooney on television fundraisers.
